Bio

On the afternoon of July 30, 2020, Ervin J. Julian passed away quietly at his home in Avondale, Arizona. He was a World War II navy veteran stationed at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. He was born October 1, 1919 in Waltham, Massachusetts. He was married 71 years to his late wife, Louise, whom he moved to Phoenix, Arizona with in 1958. During his life, he was a member of the Horses Carriage Club of America, the Wally Byam Caravan Club, Boy Scouts, and Desert Sportscoach Owners. He led a life full of world experiences and travel. He has been to several countries and went on numerous cruises.

Throughout his life, Ervin was very active in his community. After becoming legally blind, he built 25 doll houses and donated every single one. Ervin was a wonderful father and grandfather, supporting his son and grandson through everything in their lives.

At 100 years old, Ervin attended one of President Trump’s Rallies. He was honored by President Trump, being told that he was, “a world class celebrity and a great hero.” Local Phoenix Fox News Anchor, Kari Lake tweeted a video of Ervin being carried to his seat at Trump’s Victory Campaign Rally in February of 2020. The video has amassed over 6 millions views. Ervin was a Yankee, Patriot, and strong Republican all his life.

He is survived by son, Steven Julian and grandson, Joseph Julian. Both are from Phoenix, Arizona.

Ervin’s final resting place is the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona alongside his wife.
